Beef Tacos

Ingredients:

For the Beef Filling:

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/4 cup beef broth
Salt and pepper to taste
For Serving:

Taco shells or tortillas
Shredded lettuce
Diced tomatoes
Shredded cheese
Sour cream
Salsa
Instructions:

Cook the Beef:

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Add Seasonings:

Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is softened. Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, and cayenne pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes to toast the spices.
Simmer the Filling:

Stir in tomato sauce and beef broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the mixture has thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Assemble Tacos:

Warm taco shells or tortillas according to package instructions. Spoon the beef mixture into the shells or tortillas.
Top and Serve:

Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, and salsa as desired.
